Honda Civic Type-R Mugen debuted in 2010 with a limited production run of 20 hand-built units that were sold to enthusiasts in UK. For the year 2011, the cylinder bore and stroke have been increased to create an overall capacity of 2,156cc, which gives the car the name, Honda Civic Type-R Mugen 2.2. The result of the change is a boost in engine output from 240 to 260PS, and additional torque is available throughout the rev range. Peak torque is now 240Nm at 6,000rpm. Compared to a standard Honda Civic Type R, both power and torque are up 30 per cent.

Jaguar C-X16 Concept 2011 Review and Spec

Jaguar released official pictures and details for the C-X16 Concept which will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2011. The two-seater concept has inspired new advances in design, in engineering and in vehicle technology to create the most compact and responsive Jaguar in a generation. A hybrid, the Jaguar C-X16 combines searing performance with beautifully realised styling. Powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 engine with max power of 380 PS and max torque of 332 lb-ft, the car catapults from standstill to 62mph in just 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 186mph.

The 2.5L 5-cylinder engine delivers 380HP and is designed for extremely high mileage for a racing car. The car has been tested extensively on the race track for one year and in August, the car got the first pole position for a front-wheel drive vehilcle at the 6-hour VLN endurance race.

Edo Competition Aston Martin DBS 2011

Aston Martin DBS already produces the power of 517 horses and tops the speed of more than 186mph. Edo competition took on the task to improve the performance numbers of this British knockout. Using high performance exhaust system, special catalytic converters and high flow air filters, power output was increased to 550 hp (up by 33hp) and torque output to 600 Nm (442 ft-lb). This increased power and torque output gave the car the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and have a top speed of 199 mph (320km/h).
