Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2012 spec and review
The 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup has been unveiled. With a new larger fuel tank for endurance races, the 444 horsepower 3.8 liter V6 is sure to turn some heads at the track. The GT3 is similar in performance to the Porsche 911 RS, except this GT3 has been modified with race exhaust and special catalytic converters to reduce emissions. Anti-roll bars at the front and rear can be adjusted to match track settings and Porsche has reduced the overall weight by about 20 kilos. Car includes special Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes for added stopping power. Currently the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup can be found in 19 Porsche brand trophy series’ worldwide. You can expect to find this Porsche in the 2012 and 2013 race season during selected 1 make cup series races. The car will be delivered to teams around the world starting in September, with a cost of about €161,750.
